Default Re: Killed diode when Mosfet on FLexMod P3 died

Alright if someone interested in my Investigation:
Looks like fixing FlexMod is no go, after replacing mosfet and fuse I got nothing, and eventual overload of 1A limited PSU.
I noticed that it has 2 TVS diodes rated 24V, one on modulation input, another on LD output +, kinda wondering why 24V on LD... Checked TVS on output - shorted, I un-soldered it still no go.
Original mosfet completely shorted inside, so I believe it also fried whoever driving this mosfet Gate.

sigh.... well ordering new one.
