Difference Between 100mw Driver and 250mw Driver

What is the difference between drivers of different powers? (Apart from the power). What changes? Does the current (mA) change? Does the voltage change?

Is it possible to adjust a 50mw driver to suit a 250mw Diode?

They all deliver a fixed current to the laser diode. Drivers are different in design. You can search for them on this forum.
