Helo,
I'm a builder of sets, light fixture shows, and all around props.
Recently I buit 2 versions of a prop running 5 g5mw lasers with wires coming from the back into wired directly into a simply cut on/cut off switch. From the switch I wired into 2 (held two batteries each) AA battery pack. I soldered together where wires met. When I turned on the 5 lasers (some small cheap chineese kind) via switch, One overheated and burned out, one did nothing, and the other three ran amazing for 20 minutes then died.
The second try I used 1 AA batter pack instead of 2 and 4 lasers rather than 5. It worked for about 30 mintues but again lasers ended up burning out and now coming back on. I think they got to hot or due to stress of the experiment.
1) What am I doing wrong?
2) How do I make 4 lasers go indefinitely without burning out?
3) Am I supposed to be using different power source?
