Default 26650 Charger

Im going to buy some of these:

LiMnNi Rechargeable 26650 Cell: 3.7V 4000 mAh, 10A rated 14.8Wh - UN Approved (NDGR)

Can someone recommend a charger?

Or can I just charge them with like 4v?

Specs say 6.5A Max charging current.
And the charging graph

EDIT:
So looking at the graph it looks like i just need to make a current source with a max voltage of 4.1v right?

Check out my sales thread. http://laserpointerforums.com/f64/dt...tml#post873613

I have some of the WF-188 chargers in stock. They are the most versatile chargers I have come across. It can charge just about any battery you will use with portables and it does 3.2V or 3.7V via selector switch.

Default Re: 26650 Charger

It is a larger capacity cell.

To charge in a reasonable time, it will require a larger charging system.

If the graph is correct, 4.2 VDC is required like many lithium-ion cell chargers provide.

Default Re: 26650 Charger

I charge my 26650's on the WF-188 all the time and find the charging time very reasonable. If I am using a 2W dual flex unit a lot I may have to charge it once or maybe twice a week. Just throw it on the charger overnight and it is done in the morning.

But if speed is what you are looking for here is a 3A charger from the same place as the battery so it will save you on shipping.
Smart Charger (3.0A) for 3.7V Li-ion/Polymer Rechargeable Battery Pack (Standard Female Tamiya plug)

Also they have a 6A charger that is almost to the 6.5A max charging rate on that 26650 cell which is from the same place as the batteries as well.

Smart Charger (6.0A) for 3.7V Li-ion/Polymer Rechargeable Battery Pack (Alligator Clip plug) --- CE listed
