AW IMR 16340 unprotected will deliver the performance you desire.

Go to Lighthound.com and you will have your choice of protected or unprotected....most use the unprotected because it can deliver max amp draw. I think you'd be OK with either . Follow duty cycle on your laser and keep an eye on the voltage ( yes you'll need a multimeter and a GOOD charger.)

I Have heard that Xtar is good batteries..but go with the best of all.You can not go wrong with AW IMR 16340 Unprotected..:beer:

I think the Nitecores are good . I don't have any experience with Fasttech.

for no worries.....AW IMR ( in my book)

You spent a good bit on the laser, don't skimp in the battery department.:can:

Yes to most of the above. Get the best 16340's you can and get more than one pair because with a 2W and 16340's battery life may be shorter than you expect.
