I recently picked up a flashlight, and it is now my EDC.

Monster Flashlight R5-350-5C Cree LED Compact Flashlight 5-Mode

Based strictly from experience I would say that it is actually 300 lumens.

The size is perfect.

My only problem with it is that it does have only one mode... as such it gets warm after about two minutes, and hot after about 5.

It never got to the point of too hot to touch, but does get uncomfortable to hold. Still, for such a little light, it's amazingly powerful... puts my other small lights to shame.

This is the Magled Display

I got me another Magled in Blue in another section Home Depot towards front of the store. The original display I got my first Magled didn't have the blue color.

Lowes has 2D and 3D gray or black LED Maglites for $15. Online and in store. Limited quantities until 11/28. Batteries not included.

I got one black 3D LED today :yh:

I went to Home Depot a few days ago, but I didn't catch these =[

At my Lowe's during the Black Friday sale the 2D Magleds had the Rebel Leds. The 3D Magleds were using the newer Crees.

The 2AA Magled were using the Cree Led.

Ah, same as the Lowes here. I really wanted to catch the ones you had at Home Depot since they have more colors, but I guess it's just selected stores?

Does anyone know where the folks at CPF get alternative Maglite heads from?

My crazy quad-SST-90 (here) uses a Maglite host, but it clearly has an aftermarket (and much larger) head. I don't think the head was custom machined by the builder, and it's not a modified stock head either.

My new toy: a 75W HID torch :D

Torch in comparison to my little P7 torch, the HID & it's battery pack, and a AA battery:

Of course, gotta have a beamshot!

P7 torch fits in the back of the battery barrel. Xzibit approves

If anyone watches Photonicinduction on YouTube, you'll know why I bought this :)

Yup, whatever you put in front of it gets nice and toasty :D

Probably couldn't start a fire with it without some lens assistance and focusing the beam down a bit more.
