I just got a CREE XJ-L T6 that is rated 900 lumen and I realy like it.
it will light up the top of a 100 foot tall tree no problem.
I havent had a chance to see how long the brightness lasts
as the one 18650 cells voltage drops but with a fresh cell
it's one of the brightest lights for it's size I have ever seen

Actually one of the members here made it for me. He's not making them any more and wants to remain anonymous.

I sent him the flashlight and he converted it for me.

It's a red laser. I think its 200mW.

I have this flashlight from DX.. I got it free for being a good person, correcting descriptions etc.
It is not very strong, but useable...

I just played with my first p7 LED.
It was a $30 host i grabbed off ebay. shipped from the usa, it was $5 cheaper than DX.

but i noticed that 1 of the 4 elements did not light up at all. if you focused the light you'd see 3 squares of light instead of 4. i'm wondering if this was a coincidences or if that's the reason these are cheaper than DX

Sounds to me like you have a bad P7 Led.
