No way you're gonna get 13klm!!!
All XML LEDs are rated to go <1000lm at 3A, but they're all slightly different. The ones that actually come close to the 1klm mark is the XML-U2 (which I can't seem to find around) at around 975lm. The T6 goes up to around 910lm at 3A.
So you're looking at something like 10,920lm and not 13klm IF it is certain to drive at 3A.
You can check out the spec sheets here.

It'll definitely be very bright, but don't think it's 13klm.

Bad news, Johnny. I ran the numbers and that falls somewhere between bowl of impossible, and a large vat of no-way-in-hell.

Just doing some calculations:

XML T6: 910lm @ 3.35V 3000mA

Series Voltage needed to drive them all at 3amps: 3.35V x 12 die's = 40.2V

Power consumed at 3amps: 40.2V x 3A = 120.6W

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------

3x Panasonic 18650 battery 3400mA

Series voltage: 12.6V

2C current discharge: 6.8A

Total power: 85.68W

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Those Chinese cells that they'd put in this wont be able to drive them 12 die's at 3A.

This flashlight takes 26650 batteries, but comes with plastic sleeves to make it compatible with 18650's
