Quality flashlight companies?

Hi,

I'm looking to get a new quality portable flashlight. I've always shopped Chinese LED ones, but now want to step up the game a bit. I found out about this company, nitecore, and their products impressed me (certainly not very good bang for the buck though). But I really must know what other companies are out there to compare all products side to side and pick the one that suits me.
So we have nitecore, maglite, fenix, ... Which others are out there that are making good quality, high-lumen flashlights?

I'll echo Nitecore, I was gifted an MH40 Thor (Retails around $120 iirc). It has been mounted on an AR-15 for years, several thousand rounds fired for fun and many match rounds for pest control with many confirmed coyote kills under it's belt. It's still going strong and despite the use and being detached and reattached from the rifle dozens of times it looks brand new.

Solarforce has some of the best quality P60 hosts I've been able to acquire.

From what I've read their high output lights are similarly fantastic but very expensive.

BTU has one of the best triple emitter high-lumen, super thrower flashlights as far as quality+performance to cost goes. BTU Shocker can be obtained for around $90.

I own a Nitecore SR7 revenger And have to say it is impressive. I also did the cheap Chinese ebay thing and got a couple of decent lights but like you I wanted more.

I bought my Nitecore off ebay from a reputable dealer for around $100. The light this thing puts out is amazing and the dial is very user friendly. I like the fact I don't have to cycle through all the modes to get where I want and can just dial the brightness up or down. The color leds are just an added bonus.

I am very happy with solarforce lights. You can get a host and build/buy a nice P60 drop-in and you are good to go.

I also would go with Nitecore,.. again. We have two of the SRT6's. We use them everynight and they are very well made. They are easily adjustable and work like they say;).

Nitecore user here too. :) I have the MH25 and P25. I keep the MH25 in the car for emergencies and the P25 as EDC. Seen some tough situations and it kept going

Zebralight is also good. The SC600 MkII L2 is a great EDC light. It's pretty bright too at 1100 lumens. Runs off of a 18650.

If your looking for something smaller the SC52 runs off of one AA or 14500

I've carried my Sunwayman V10R (with xp-g) with me for well over a year and a half now. I cannot see a reason for ever having to replace it unless it breaks.

Infinitely variable control ring. Super bright on high, and the lowest is insanely low, you can look right into the LED it's that low. No modes, just turn the ring from low to high, no strobe, sos, any of that bs.

Don't shop by company. Instead, you need to tell us what features of a light are important to YOU. Otherwise, you will continue to receive posts about random names, modders, flashlight companies, etc.

Surefire IS generally accepted to be the "original gangster" of quality flashlight companies, though. Only one mention... hmmm....

I have 2 Nitecore TM26 lights.

Both have had issues with the LCD display, but Nitecore has replaced both under warranty.

I also have 2 Zebralight SC600's, and one is starting to fail. Unfortunately I can't find my receipt and haven't been able to claim warranty for it.

You might contact who you bought it from to see if they offer any warranty services like replacement.

Warranty is another feature that is nice to have in a light. The "warranty" that comes with my lights is implicit, and is something to the tune of "It will look like the picture, maybe"
