Well this is now my favorite flashlight. The blue color is very soothing and fills the room. I really like the heavy sturdy feel of this host. It has a solid heatsink for the pill.
On with the pics.

Man I was I had the skills to make something like that. Freaking awesome. Does it burn if you focus it up close with a reflective mirror or just put it next to something?

Not sure, never thought to try that. I have zero skills compared to Jayrob. Check out his LED builds. They are the best. Thanks bud!

You should try it out sometime. I have 1450 lumen spotlight from wal-mart that was only $29 and It turned out to be VERY bright and it's probably actually that many lumens. So I found one of those cheap curved mirrors that make everything look bigger and I focused it to as small as I can get. ( it was about 20-30 times the size of a laser dot.) In about 2 seconds it will heat, boil ,and then just vaporize any dark plastic and any paper will get charred and glow orange. Way better than any laser for that price or any laser unless you get into the 445s. Just use some kind of goggles for it if you try it.

What the he|| are you talking about? Have you never herd of wavelengths? Its about more than burning. . . 445 is such a boring color, tried of seeing it. I'd take a 0.01mW 543nm or amber HeNe to a 3W 445.

DLMB, he was referring to the power of the flashlight, not the colour of it :p

Dude I don't even have a 445. I was just saying it was a goodbuy for $29. No laser could burn like that unless you get into the watt range. It also fully eliminated my use for lasers to burn except for popping balloons or lighting matches. I'm not saying all you can do with a laser is burn. I've been into using beam expanders to extend the range of dimmer colors like red and cheap lower powered greens.

Blue does release soothing hormones, part of why I want a low powered 445 so bad.
