Chery im confused; i said i bought, as in already purchased, a Sky Ray M4 but you are still recommending i buy a SKR from you?

BTW i am a member of BLF and in case you didnt realize wallbuys is on the "Do NOT Buy" list over there. You guys have dug yourself in a hole over there and starting to do the same here. Members dont like companies who only join a community to promote their store. Its not a good business model and it should be fixed. From recent reviews ive read, both here and BLF, it seems like wallbuy should focus on fixing your problems with under spec products, quality, shipping and customer service before you continue promoting your company

We personally dont care if you take our advise but if you want to regain buyers, then the advice should probably be taken.

Sincerely,
Livinloud

Its fine that the same thing was sent twice, not mad about it at all. i just wanted to point out some issues that members here and at BLF are having since it seems like they are going unnoticed. anyways, you have now seen them and i hope to see some good improvements in the near future from wallbuys.

good luck with the new and improved wallbuys

I'm looking for my first aspheric thrower. I have a few reflector based lights and wanted an aspheric for throw. What I'm looking for is minimal lo mid hi or (preferably) no blinking modes, 1x 18650 battery and as much lumens per $ as possible. I already have a Nitecore P25, Fenix E21 and some cheapies. Because I'll have a friend order it, my budget is under $50 and preferably available in FT or DX.

This is the closest that I found https://www.fasttech.com/product/1085400 I've seen the review at BLF but looking for anyone that has direct experience with this model and how was it?

If you got better options for what I wanted, I welcome your suggestions. :)

have you checked out BLF. they are a great community similar to LPF but specialize in flashlights. plus there are great LPF members who also frequent there like IE, ryanoh3 (sorry if i spelt that wrong, couldnt remember off the top of my head) and myself to name a few.

they are a wealth of knowledge and i enjoy reading threads over there. havent posted much myself since i am still learning and dont feel that i know enough to recommend lights just yet. hit up IE for aspheric throwers, he knows a bunch about them and is going to help me with my first one

I would suggest starting out with this one instead: $6.76 SIPIK SK68 Cree Q3-WC 120-Lumen Convex Lens LED Flashlight - 1 x AA / 1 x 14500 at FastTech - Worldwide Free Shipping

It's 3 times cheaper, and you can get an idea of what an aspheric is like.

As far as aspheric throwers are concerned, for the moment, I still think the best stock option of the Crelant 7G5CS with Aspheric head.

I hear they are coming out with an updated version of the 7G5CS, with XML2 LED. (There is already one version with XML2 out, but it's going to be replaced.)

I was going to suggest the crelant 7G5CS but he was looking for a cheap option. That all said and done is going to cost close to $80-100. The head alone is $30 but your right it seems to be a really nice option. I really like the crelants. Nice high end lights with, sometimes, half the tag of the nitecores

Thanks for the replies, LL and IE.

I have a cheap aspheric headlamp (which used 3x AAA but I converted it to use a Li-ion cellphone battery) so I do know what to expect in an aspheric. I just wanted another in a handheld version and brighter.

I did some looking around in a few places and found a lot of aspherics and it overwhelmed me lol. I narrowed it to the one I linked. The one IE recommended uses an AA/14500 but I was looking for an 1x 18650 one.

The Crelant is nice but a little out of the budget and is a bit on the big side. Something around the P25 size is OK. Sorry if I'm appearing to be asking to be spoon fed. I did look around but there are tons of options but they usually have a lot of useless blinking modes that I don't like. I was just hoping that someone might have used the one I'm looking at or has come across a better option. I'll still do some more reading and post what I decide to buy. :)

if you really want some serious lumens check this one out but its expensive

45 65 85W 8500LUMEN HID Xenon 8700mAh Torch Flashlight Camping Without Carry Box | eBay

i actually have a very simular one of these,,, Amazon.com: Ultra Bright CREE 1600LM Lumen Adjustable LED Aluminum alloy Flashlight Torch + Charger + 2 x 18650 Battery, 5 Mode: Patio, Lawn & Garden

on flood mode it will light up a whole beach, or several neighborhood yards and the street in front of you... on spotlight it makes a super bright square on what you are pointing at... i was able to spotlight on the side of a building 100 or so yards away and could clearly see the bright square ,,,

has some reviews and mine still works,, and you can see the beam at night lol

I don't want to go with HID due to complications of using one. (warm up, hot restrike, its glass! etc) but the one you linked to looks interesting. Not exactly what I was looking for (1x 18650) but hmmm, looks interesting and made me think of getting one. Thanks!

edit:
I found this and it looks interesting. I might just get one to play with. :D
