Hello Everyone,

So I'm looking for the best flashlight that costs under $70, including shipping. I was recommended THIS one by InfinitusEquitas since I couldnd't afford the modded one he was selling. Is it the best bang for buck? It seems like a very good deal.

So yeah. Tell me what you think!

Thanks,
Gun

What specifically about the light are you looking for?

Brightness, throw, durability, etc?

Another genuine but cheaper SRK here: Buy China SKYRAY KING New-M6 3 Cree XM-L T6 3-Mode 2000lm White Light LED Flashlight Torch Golden (4 x 18650) - Free Shipping

Even cheaper one here, but with questionable quality: SkyRay King 3T6 3XCree XM-L T6 LED 3000K 2000-Lumen 3-Mode Yellow Flashlight(4X18650)

Cheers!
Er, not sure really, too hard to choose! I guess durability is the most important but I also want it to have good throw and be bright, lol.

Thanks for the links, have you had good experiences with either of those suppliers?

Solarforce makes great lights as well. Their quality is top notch: Solar Force

Review of the Solarforce M8 here: http://budgetlightforum.com/node/5371

Oh, ok. I'll have to have a good look at them.

I'll second these questions...

Do you want flood, or throw?

The skyray provides a ton of flood light, but it doesn't have too much throw to it.

Do you want a light that you can stick in your pocket? Or are you OK with a larger size?

The problem is shipping to Australia adds too much to the price.

I can guarantee my Skyray will beat, or at least match the performance of any stock Skyray out there.

In order to beat it, you really have to spend over $100...

I also still have a stock, black Skyray, that performs very well. It's about 80-90% of the performance of the modded one. $50 plus shipping for that one.

That will be fine, I don't think I'll ever need to see really far.

It would be better if it could fit in my pocket, however I'm not concerned. How big is the skyray?

Livinloud, I would love to buy InfinitusEquita's skyray however as he said, it will cost too much with shipping.

Oh okay, thanks. Aurabuy looks good, so does cnqualitygoods.com (recommended by InfinitusEquitas). But if you've had good experiences with Aurabuy, I think I might go with them! I'm currently deciding whether to buy the flashlight or to save up for a laser. I think I'll wait till my birthday (6 days away) to see what I'll do.

Laser = much much cooler.

Flashlight = MUCH MUCH more practical.

Aurabuy is a decent company, ordered a couple of times, got my orders, no complaints.

I'd stay away from wallbuys though.

Haha, looks like I've got a decision to make then :p

Yeah if I decide to get the skyray, I'll buy it from Aurabuy :)

The Skyray King is a little smaller then a soda can. It's an amazing light and it also tails stands really well so it can be used as a lantern if your power goes out. It will easily light up a room.

It does take 4 X 18650 batteries though and they need to be button top to make good contact. Since the batteries are in parallel you can run it on fewer for a reduced run time.
