will my Arctic spyder 3 make it to canada?

I ordered a wicked lasers arctic spyder 3 5 days ago and now it says shipped when 1 check the order status. I bought exspress shipping because I know wicked lasers always ships slow ( or so ive seen many times). im just wondering if anyone from canada has had their laser stoped by customs, seeing as it is a class 4 laser. im very worried that i will never see my arctic spyder 3
Ps. this is my first laser over 100mw

Would it matter if someone else got his or her laser stopped by customs? I mean, it's not like it would help your situation any. Anyway, why didn't WL give you a tracking number, or does that answer itself?

According to this forum I've seen just two people getting their lasers taken away. Not to scare you or anything but one of the lasers that was confiscated was an arctic spyder. But don't worry too much about it as it's considerably rare. I have ordered a few high powered lasers and no problem (Well at least not yet). Oh congrats on your first purchase on a laser over 100mw and good luck. There really is no way of telling if you're going to get it or not but I'm sure you will.

The only thing you should really worry about here is your own vision, you can always buy a new laser, but you can't buy new vision.

If your laser comes from WL and everything goes smooth, then you dodged a bullet because even on this very forum there is a thread call "33 reasons not to buy from wickedlasers" (even though there are probably more than 33 reasons) But I just want to give you fair warning, from what I've seen, dealing with wickedlasers is a hit or miss kinda thing. Anyways on a more positive note, congratulations on the buy, and even if you get a hard time from WL your still ahead of me . When you get your laser be sure to do a write up on it and include LOTS of pictures! Cuz we like pitchures!:beer:

Wicked Lasers, DX and a few other addresses of popular laser vendors are on a blacklist. It's rare for a laser to be confiscated from a less-known laser source but Wicked Lasers is probably the widest known source for high power lasers and customs have been extremely vigilant lately. I wish you the best of luck.

Oh no that's not good. I plan on buying at least 3 more high powered lasers over the summer. :undecided:

As long as you don't buy from the popular laser sources you should be fine... I have yet to hear of a confiscation from O-like or Lazerer. DX and Wicked Lasers and other huge retailers that lots of people know about are the ones to worry about.

I will keep you guys informed, wicked lasers said that the laser has been shipped and i have recived my tracking number. if it does get stopped by customs I will ask wicked lasers to resend, might get lucky the secound time.

Don't worry, you will get your laser. I am in Canada and i ordered my arctic about a week ago, i got my tracking number after 4 days, And mine has arrived to Canada yesterday. Customs let it through! Now it is being processed by Canada Post.

Please guys- check the dates of the OPs -AND when you make a thread like this one its considered good manners to follow up with what eventually happened..

but since we are back here-- its very true tha WL is not on the 'trusted shipper' list- this I got from a guy THAT KNOWS-- and-- as has been said many times- just because sellers 'sweeten' the deal with free batteries it a no-brainer to refuse them-- they are not even close to being worth the possible bad endings that can happen when batts and lasers are shipped in the same box- duh!

you can offer to pay extra and get your batteries AND the tailcap sent seperatly from the rest of your laser- also I am fairly certain that express shipping, in most cases is safer than the cheaper methods. afaik.
Failure or success of others had very little to do in another case.
I also know of one Canadian member that had his laser sent to a friend south of the border and just picked it up from them in person..and drove it home.

Even if customs stops or confiscates the laser WL will just send another to you until you do receive one ---so not much to worry about
