I just suspect that we might see a WL gun laser now in the not too far off future, and consider WL to be lousy company. Hence losers.

1. They have plenty of lasers, they don't need another 445.
2. If this was for a private collection, it's more likely that an individual would have purchased it. Not a company.
3. It's a great design, and like me they like it. People have a tendency to imitate stuff they like.
Take it as a compliment... and copyright the next one maybe

I'm always astounded by just how much trademarks and branding are perceived to be worth. At least here, they might put their logo on something truly inspired... and up to spec

I'm saying I agree you could be right that they just want it, just to have it associated with themselves.
The rest is just rumination on my part over something I consider to be ridiculous and a light jab at the fact that WL lasers are always underspec.
