Quick 1.2w rifle question

I always use my brother's CR123 charger, but since he took it, I have to use the stock one that came with the rifle for the first time. I couldn't find the answer to this anywhere, so just making sure:

As it charges, the light is red - will it change or do I need to just time it after 4 hours?

Wel the experience i got with those chargers is that when the battery is fully charged the LED turns green!

I don't know at which voltage it does that so it is a good idea to check the batteries voltage with a multimeter when it is fully charged it is about 4.2V
