Probably a very stupid question...

I know we extract M140/A140 diodes out of the projectors of the same name, but those are only the blue diodes 445nm diodes right? Now forgive me for my ignorance, but what exactly do we do with the other (red and green I'm assuming) diodes? Are they for some reason not fit to make lasers out of? Even so, I think I would have seen at least something about them. I'm sorry if this is a really stupid question, I know very little about these projectors, let alone projectors in general.

There are no green or red laser diodes in the projectors. :D

Then how do they.... project? Sorry if this post is extremely stupid. Do they only show blue?

The newer projectors use the blue lasers to produce green light while using PT-121 Phatlight LEDs to produce blue and red light.

Ok cool. Thanks, makes a lot more sense now. How, may I ask, does the 445 blue become green? Does it use the same technique that 532nm is really 1064nm/2?

phosphor wheels coated with something that emits hella green when lit with the blue laser array.
