Thanks to Jayrob's >>18650 kit<< and drlava's excellent >>Microboost driver<< ive constructed this little fella..

The machining on the 18650 kit is fantastic. I opted for the press fit and ez-focus options, so no silly Aixiz lens poking out the front, and now the unit looks like a shop bought laser.

Some pics.

And FYI the driver is set to about 1000Ma maybe even 1100Ma.

It's an easy build wbayw... check out my mod I did on my 18650 host (in sig, below)... might come in handy for your build :D

None taken, ive met more pedantic people....but not many.

MA= Mega Amper
mA= milli Amper
Ma= Milli ampere (to 99.9999999 of the people, given the context it was taken from)



I'm now running it way over spec at around 1200 milliamperes and it doesnt even break a sweat, and a doddle to build, you'll have no problem.

I am an electric engineer, and I don't like seeing Ma as milliamperes. Milliamperes is mA.
I only wanted to correct it. Saying again, no offense.
