Np, nothing wrong with being enthusiastic.

Laser pointers are what this forum is all about. If you weren't excited by them you wouldn't be here. I wouldn't be here either:)

Besides, I'm pretty sure almost every single person that comes on the forum does the same exact thing at first.

That is until someone else comes along and points it out to them:p

All you need to do is put the end of the youtube url, after the = and before any words such as "feature" in this case.

Then you take that part of the url "8DmIf466IzM&" and put it in the youtube tags.

So on order to put in the video all you do is write the following [*yt]8DmIf466IzM&[/yt*] but without the asterisk.

So can it? Can it light a match?:p

Sorry to bump and old(ish) thread. I just courious what power did you get 50mw or 100mw? Are you able to see the beam at night? Hows the divergence? Everything go smoothly with the company you bought the laser from?

Is it really an OPNEXT, or is it an OSRAM?

I'm *very* skeptical about the OPNEXTs being out and about in the real world. Supposedly the "OPNEXT" that O-Like sells is really an OSRAM.

Thoughts?

I'm really curious where they are sourcing the 100mw diode from, because it appears the osram doesn't go that high. :thinking:

I've been out of the laser game for 6 months I come back to GREEN diodes and 450nm single mode diodes very cool!

Ignore the OSRAM datasheet. I have mine running 150mW, no sweat.

I'm using the Rayfoss version. To be honest, I don't know which revision it really is, and I sort of don't trust Rayfoss / O like to tell me. There's a thread on PL about it - I'm pretty sure they're both selling the same diode. I have an O Like here too. I'll test it once I get a chance and report back.

I got the 100mw.
You can see the beam inside during the day ok at night it looks awsome.
Yup everthing went great with the order. Shipping time was like 10 days.
