Hey everyone,
Does anyone have a datasheet for the M-140 diode?
I'm looking for exact threshold current, slope efficiency etc. so please don't just give me a mA/mW graph.
Thank you,
Alessandro

We don't have a data sheet for the M140 diodes at the moment. They are not Nichia diodes though.

Ah, I see. Well, has anyone figured out the exact threshold current and possibly slope efficiency?
Thank you for the help!

The threshold and the efficiency of the diodes can be very different. It varies among the diodes. You can better look at the user experiences and the measured currents to get an idea of the values.

The mW vs mA measurement provides exactly what you want - a threshold current and a slope efficiency. Both parameters depend on temperature too, especially a threshold current. High power laser diodes have large variations in their specs, thus your request for "exact" is tough to fulfill. Get one and test it :na:
