That sounds a little too close if looking at the dot, but it varies a great deal. I look at the beam without glasses all the time, but the dot is too bright to look at that close depending on the surface. You should be able to tell if it's too bright to look at, if there's any doubt then don't look at it.

Ohk. So looking at beam isn't going to affect my eye sight. Just checking before it's too late. Love the blue beam. It's so cool to look at.
