Particularly interesting is the section labelled "Stability of the Light Engine over Time"

Probably won't matter for our intended use as the diodes probably don't last long enough to degrade significantly before dying anyway. But it could be a factor.

Still an interesting article.. Its even more so considering that at this forum, rather than testing
them for the intended use, we rip em down. Further it will be fascinating to see how the manufacturer
copes with the issues noted in that article.


I wonder if they will ever bother adding TEC to the diode array the way they have it setup
for the red LED.

One thing I am not surprised with is the drop in output after warmup.. Even though they
house those small tornado level fans, the units get quite hot during use. No wonder they
start by default in eco-mode :undecided:

Confirms some of the suspicions I had about the
stability of the "A" series projectors over time..
