So, I'm going to build a 445nm Laser 1.5W and more, and I need to choose a GOOD and CHEAP goggles.
For now I've got that one:
Professional Lasers Protective Safety Goggles (Easy Pack) - WorldWide Free Shipping
Because I had a 100mW laser. (SD-301)

So:
1. Is that goggles will be ok for the 445nm 1.5W+ I'm going to build ?
2. That really expensive, but what do you think about that goggles:
Eagle Pair® 190-470nm & 660-760nm Laser Safety Goggles
Eagle Pair® 190-540nm Slip Over Laser Safety Goggles
Eagle Pair® 190-540nm Standard Laser Safety Goggles

Also what's the differents between them ?
3. Laser Safety Glasses, Laser Goggle - That one will cost 43$ with shipping. What do u think about them too ?
4. http://www.amazon.com/Uvex-S1933X-Eyewear-SCT-Orange-Anti-Fog/dp/B000USRG90/ref=pd_bxgy_hi_img_b There are a lot cheap goggles here. What about them too ?

Sorry for so many question, but Im not going to put more than 180$ for a laser that gonna harm my eyes.
Answers as fast as you can please.
Thank you !

Just to let you know, if you think eagle pair are really expensive, bear in mind that they are roughly the same price as a single 445 nm diode! A complete laser is much more.

The other UVEX goggles mentioned above are much cheaper, but are not certified! Testing has shown they do work, but I would definitely choose the eagle pair over them.

I built a ~2.6 W 445 and the EP's work perfectly, even when engraving wood at close range.

Yeah I have heard of them and they seem ok. Best to test on an LPM though to be sure. Having said all that I would still recommend eagle pair or better ie OEM...
