DDEN is 100% correct i would keep a diode in that host to a max of 2+W's. There i just not enough meat to take the heat of an 06 diode . Even if you pressed in a copper sleeve the sink in the Thor just isn't large enough to accommodate it. You need a larger host and sink to be safe. Don't waste your hard earned cash. As DDEN said those 16340's won't swing it.
I can build you a host to take a 06 diode if you need one no pressure just reaching out.
