See that ring inside the barrel? That's what you have to unscrew.

Wiped it a bit with the microfiber and put it back in, but that didn't do anything :/
How should I go about cleaning it then? I have Acetone, q tips, microfiber, and toilet paper (some people said they had success with this :p).
EDIT: Here's a pic of the lens. I'll try to get a better one soon. http://i.imgur.com/UBVTk0w.jpg

Couple more pics of the lens: Photo Album - Imgur
EDIT: Would it be easier just to buy a new lens? I'll probably end up doing this if I can't fix it with the lensepen or compressed air.

I would just leave it, you'll almost never be able to get a, 100% clean output. From the photos it doesn't look to bad.

P.S. It's frowned upon by some to double and triple post, there is an edit button in the bottom right of your posts.

Alright, I'll just wait until I get my lensepen and compressed air. Thanks for the help :)
EDIT: If it was still dirty after that, where would I be able to find a good inexpensive replacement lens? (just the lens, the nut and stuff is all fine)

We all had to start somewhere my friend.

As long as n00bs LISTEN to the advice advanced members are offering, they will do just fine.
