Anyway, i found and ordered another from here (still on the road) and i guess it will be same or very close like this one but without box.
Regards,
B.

Funny enough you got a violet 405 nm laser, and since you complained, they changed the description from 445 to 405 nm. So I doubt they have the blue one. :tinfoil:

Getting a low-powered 445nm laser for cheap can be tough, since the diodes are expensive and they are meant to run with more power. Here( http://laserpointerforums.com/f65/low-power-445nm-diodes-5-50mw-like-55010.html ) is an old thread that can shed some light on the topic. Running a 445 at low power means that you are running it just above the threshold current so it will be hard to find a blue that you can point around the classroom.
Apparently the only way to get something at around 5mw is to get a single-mode diode which is pretty expensive and run it low.

your main option given your guidelines would be a 5mw 473nm blue laser pointer, although 473nm lasers are very costly, since low powered deep blue 445nm safe lasers aren't really available even in single mode diodes. the blue laser you had in mind would be to powerful to use in a classroom situation (even the 50mw). your best bet for a low powered blue would be a 405nm violet pointer. but you stated that you do not want a violet laser. you also mentioned that you want adjustable power. given your guidelines and your tight budget it looks like you'll have to go with a different colour laser. if money wan't an issue go with a 473nm pointer. remember you should never use any laser with an accessible emission of >5mw without proper eye protection, especially in a classroom.

Thanks for the help and great replies from everybody! :D

I finally got a Blue 445 nm single mode OSRAM diode laser pen from Odic Force in the UK. Should be around 50 mW, albeit the seller measured it and it's around 70 mW.

Took 1 week from online buying to getting it in my hand.
What do you guys think?
The build is standard for what I have seen online (I like it), very good round focused dot, beam visible in low light conditions. At 50m even in outdoor daylight, the dot is visible.
Does not light up matches, but it stings a little in my hand.

See this topic.
Another user ordered from them (a different laser, but same range of price). It was a 405 nm violet laser 5 mW. Yet, after that, they changed their site to 405 nm instead of 450 nm.
450 nm Blue laser diodes are still expensive. But the color is really superb.
