Artic 1,4W problem

Just got my Arctic today, and i putted in the battery, started the Laser. But it was low on battery, so i turned it off after trying low power strobe and low power continous modes.
Charged the battery for 4 hours, the light were still red when i unplugged it because i was scared of overcharging it.

Started it, and first thing i noticed was this that the dot is not 100% "clean", a small dot just like there is dust on the lens. I see a little dust on it, but didn't remove it so i switched lens to the cross lens to see how it looks, and this is what showed up:

Two pictures on the cross, and one on the dot with 100% lens on.
Have used the laser for mabye 2 minutes in total, afraid to use it more incase i destroy something.
The temperature is 22 degrees Celsius inside, have not used it outside.
No rain or anything (Have read that you should use the laser in rain) and it's been a perfect sunny day.
Battery Voltage shows 4,2V. And i've treated it all very gently.

What should i do to get rid of this? Mabye its just some temporary because its brand new? And i've looked trough the forum a bit, to see for similar problems but without any success.

That's odd, usually blue lasers are much more stable... but then again it is WL so yea

I don't think it's anything you did. It's probably WL's problem (i recommend not ordering from them again) they really aren't great quality lasers and are wayyy overpriced for the quality you are getting.

Any idea what i should do? The battery shows 4,2V.. I'm reading in the manual " Power Consumption: 3.7V @ 1.4A " Could this do anything? 0,5V higher than its consumption.

the higher voltage may just burn it out quicker. So you do need to switch to 3.7V. but i don't think that is what's causing the issue.

I'm not sure I understand the issue, are you unhappy about the wings on the dot? Or just that it's not a clean dot? You could try getting another lens, or even cleaning the diode window. I would rather just live with the laser as is, rather than risk damaging or worsening the diode windows's or lens's problem.

Instead it looks like the pictures i showed you, one of the 4 parts of the cross, is strongly weaker than the other parts, and i want the single dot to be just one clean single dot.
I've tried cleaning the diode window with a toothpick in microfiber thingy, still no changes

You can't expect that kind of quality with WL. sorry you should have checked our opinion on WL before buying.

4.2V is normal cell voltage for lithium batterys without load. If you put load on it
( for example 1.4A like the manual says) the voltage drops to around 3.7V

BTW there is nothing wrong with the batteries. ALL 3.7V batteries will read 4.2V when fully charged. the problem seems to be crap on the lens. you can always get s new lens or you can contact WL and ask them for a new lens. who knows they may send you a new laser but i doubt it

I've tried cleaning the diode window and the actual lens with microfiber thingy that is for those kind of things (Uses it on my nikon d3100)

you need to take the lens apart to clean it and then soak it in, ughhhhh brain fart, ummm rubbing alcohol???? dont quote me on that, ill find the link to how to clean a lens.

I do wipe the lens off, as opposed to just letting it dry, and repeat the process 2-3 times.

Depends on your microfiber cloth, there are many that claim to be microfiber but yet are not and trap dirt thus scratching the lens. you need to use a high quality microfiber cloth, the one i use is one from a professional eye glasses shop. if the one for you nikon is a legit nikon microfiber then it will be fine, if its from some random online shop then invest in a quality cloth or let air dry

It is an Nikon cloth so i guess it's fine. But you said something about a movie how to do it? I dont wanna take it apart and know nothing of what i am doing, and i dont wanna ruin the warranty.
