Did some tests tonight, but no ruler measuring until daylight tomorrow!
I tried my G9 lens, and the line length looks about the same, so it's not the G2 lens.
I also tried the 3 element lens. a just saw a nice small dot ( at 75') with this lens. It's my favorite by far even with the power reduction! To bad about the big circular spray it projects! This would be the go to lens without it. There has to a way to kill it? BTW is there a top, and bottom to the 3 element? Which way does it go?
I still want to firgure out what going on with the G2 / G9. Again, Could anyone tell me what length line I should see at 50', and 75' or even 100'? I'd love to have those figures tomorrow to compare my results against.
