I know it's old but I finally have a driver that will work for this 9mm 445.. and this is one of the bigest mix mached lasers I have ever built and alot of people have had a part in it.. it started with a Mohgasm saik sa-305 heatsink (which left me alot of room on the back) to fill it up with drivers or tec or whatever.. I tried to get some benboosts parallelled which didnt work for me so then I baught a FMT which worked but I couldnt change the current setting so I was stuck with 2.3W with that... I baught some V3 blitzbucks which were faulty so then I tried building a DIY 17mm buck/boost and that failed sent stuff back and away to be fixed and I got it all back prety much teh same day!!! I have been playing and testing and testing and testing.. lol But anyway's The Blitzbuck got me to close this laser up and call it finnished... OK on with the pics..

It is a DTR 9mm 445 with own lens in custom barrel and a anthot focus ring Mohgasm heatsink Blitzbuck ????ma... 2.9W Saik SA-305 3 x AR-14500 serial build..

ok the guts and the Glory!!!

IMG_4535 by Kizdawg, on Flickr the 800mAh batteries I had were not button top and didnt work in the case so I just opted to combine what I had for testing.. Hope I dont wreck them...

I also thaught I killed it after the second day out. But it ended up being the batteries. Not a really great run time on 3x14500's.

Kizdawg it's amazing. So do you need to wire the diode any differently? I might get this diode this month and I'm a bit nervous to wire it all up wrong and I don't know what driver to use

Thx It is a prety straight forward diode just 2 pins + & -. Then there is also removing the lens cleaning it and puting it in a barrel for a lens about the same or a little better output as a G2.
