That looks like a single diode laser, I don't think there were two beams combined, so I don't believe it's 10W without seeing it tested on an LPM since there is no 10W blue diode. I would guess it is over 3W but no more than 7W.

A lot of people do this kind of thing on YouTube by mislabeling lasers to make people think they're more powerful than they actually are, you could actually have a 4 watt laser and just tell someone that doesn't know much about them that It's hitting 10 watts and someone will most definitely believe it but I highly doubt that it is. Unless he's using 2 diodes in that thing but even then, 10 would need an unimaginable about of heat sinking, 10 would be Incredibe in so many ways but it's still hard to hit that these days.

Not 10 watts, no way, not with those batteries.

Possibly 2.5 watts, and that's not bad for desktop burning/cutting, but it's not going to be 10 watts.

At the very best it could be a 5 watt, but I doubt it judging from the focal point, it looks like a NDB7875 with a 3 element, they are good burners/cutters on the desktop.

At best it could be a NDB7A75, but again I doubt it, with those batteries 2.5 watts by way of a NDB7875 would be my bet.

This is mine and it's 5 watts.

Now that's one hell of a host there. Even at 10w, having (4) 18650 must provide some great run times. That host is strange, almost like the big skyray but really it's almost like holding a soup can

If it's 2 diodes they must also be corrected, the beam is so thin and not very divergent.

He claims it is two 5w diodes but in this other video of his it looks more like 2 beams combined.

Here's another of the same guys videos, he claims dual diodes and the beam looks like it in this video.

I really like the double switches, sort of a safety type setup but without the need for keys. Thanks for sharing, I've came across his YouTube channel before, and I only know because of the bird in the background, at first i thought it was a kid screaming lol. I wonder what diodes he's running in there and I'm very curious of the optics.

I wonder if that is a LPF member? It seems that it's almost inevitable that if lasers are your thing then LPF is a must.

The video is 3 years old and I left him a message asking.

They would have to be 7875 diodes and the divergence is pretty low, maybe a prism correction after a dicro combining?

I still think he is way south of 10 watts, maybe 5 watts.

----------------------------------------

This video is 15 months old, so what 2 diodes? I say 6 watts tops.

It's cool, very cool, but I don't buy 10 watts with 2 diodes and that divergence.

Maybe 2 x 7A75 diodes, still south of 10 watts after optics.
And is this 2 diodes, the divergence is awful low, it looks like 7875 divergence, could be 2 of them, 6 watts tops.
But show me.....I want to be wrong.

I believe this is the same laser and it says 6w, so the 7875 would be a great fit. I'd love to see inside both of those bad boys. No where near 10 watts but hey, gotta get those hits!!

December of 2013 it would have to be a pair of 7875's at best minus combining optics.

But it could be just 1 diode. Still a good looking build.
