What an oportunity I had tonight when a thunderstorm rolled in! I just had to pull out my 445nm MXDL build. I'm just putting the final touches on the build (Updates to the thread to come).
Many thanks to DTR for the diode/module/lens (And the replacement after I killed that!). To Mrcrouse for the host and MASSIVE heatsink. To daguin for the benboost driver. To flaminpyro for the wire and shrink tubing.
I've made the final touches to the driver heatsink and will be stripping down the rig and installing the heatsink and driver into the host pill, thereby making the whole host a heatsink!
Then the pics will come!
