I was at Menard's (A large home improvement store chain) today and noticed this same guidesman 2AA host was on display. The also had a 2D cell and 3D cell version which look exactly like the 2AA, but much larger. They were only about $10-$15 more than the AA host.

Any chance you could offer the 2D version of this host kit?

Wait a minute, is this thread really still active, with usable Paypal links?

I've been waiting over 4 months for Ray just to return my hosts, and he won't even return an email, pm, Facebook message, etc. Yet he's still posting a usable Paypal link?

I'm sorry, this now has me more than just "irritated". This has me, finally, calling fraud.

Ray: It has been over 4 months, maybe almost 5. I have been strung along (and I'm sure others have also). You don't communicate, and you won't return over $100 (maybe $200) worth of my items. This is wrong. You are acting unethically. These are unethical business practices.

To the forum, and to anyone also waiting on Ray to make good on a purchase, or even just to refund money, I think it's time for us to start addressing the reality that Ray is ignoring us intentionally. Do as you all will, but if I don't have a tracking number from Ray, indicating that he is returning my items to me, by Tuesday evening, I'm going to start looking into other avenues. We can contact the WI better business Bureau (BBB of Wisconsin - Wisconsin BBB) as after all, this is a logical extension of his machine shop. We can post on his FB (https://www.facebook.com/pages/Northside-Auto/249922345031001), we can start trying to locate and contact his Northside Auto testimonial customers (Jean Becker, Kenosha, WI and Grant M., Kenosha, WI). If it really gets to that stage, I'll contact the local Kenosha police. I know that didn't help with StevieDezie, but maybe it will help here.

Ray, you've exhausted all of your good will with me. I just want my stuff back. All it takes is $20 to put that stuff in a trackable package and ship it back to me. Don't you dare try to tell me this is over reaction. Two months ago you suggested to me that it was over-reaction to start my "Where's Ray?" thread. After coming up for that brief comment, you disappeared again. I'm done waiting, and I'm done giving you the benefit of the doubt based on our past interactions. You've blown that credit.

My last 2 guidesmans I got from ray wouldn't fit an Aixiz module in. I only sent him 1 pm, but never got a reply

I have to agree with rhd. I too have been waiting for a refund on a transaction since June 5 for 2 guidesman hosts that wasn't in stock.

I had Ray machine a heat sink for me and the opening for the aixiz module didn't fit. So I thought it's ok, he was a nice guy and decided to fix it myself with my dremel, but I wonder how he is able to make that mistake when mostly if not all the hosts he makes are designed to be used with these modules.

You know, I like Ray, but at this point I'm going to have to agree, he's doing people wrong and killed his reputation here!

I also had the same issue about the module not fitting in the last custom guidesman that I got from him.

I spoke with him a couple of weeks ago and reminded him about rhd, letting him know that rhd was pretty upset. He realized that he still had a bunch of stuff of his, and said that he did need to send it back, but apparantly blew it off as soon as we got off the phone.

At this stage what he's done is considered mail fraud. Had he kept your money, hosts or whatever and completely stopped selling anything to anyone, then it would have been different, and could have just been considered bad luck and bad timing.

But, with him still accepting money from people now and delivering anything shows that he just doesn't want or intend to deliver, and that is theft!

It's to late for you guys to dispute charges with paypal, but if several of you were to get together and report having paid him and not receiving your products you might at least be able to get his paypal account shut down.

Best of luck to all of you who are still waiting on Ray to make ggod on his obligations and honor.

I agree Mark.

I also think a more effective solution might be for us to collectively chronicle our grievances, and report it to the Kenosha police. They won't take it too seriously for this amount of money, but if there's a slow day, they might at least try to pay him a visit.

I also think the WI Better Business Bureau is a decent avenue, as they DO pay attention to the reputation of people doing business in their jurisdiction. There are also contractor / trades review sites like Angies List (Doctor Reviews & Contractors Ratings - Find a Doctor or General Contractor | Angie's List) where we can leave comments.

Again, I'm going to give Ray until Tuesday to ship (with tracking) my items back before doing anything. I'll also collect input from other forum members who he owes various items or money to and pool our collective issues.

I feel somewhat responsible here, as I was one of the first to really promote Ray's work to the forum. So I think the least I can do is try to push on our behalf for some resolution.

If anyone has any way of passing this message along to Ray, it might be worth making him aware of what's going on. I certainly don't have any way to communicate with him directly. I've tried PM, two of his email addresses, and his FB. At the very least, I think it would be good for him to understand that the forum isn't waiting any longer.

All he has to do is go to the post office on Monday/Tuesday and ship everyone the items they've been waiting for. Then this issue will be over and done with, and no ill feelings will remain (at least in my mind).

Failing that though, I'll start a thread on Wednesday, collect member's grievances, and start pursuing some of those other avenues everyone has been brainstorming.

I didn't know better, thought this was an active sales thread...sent my money the other day b/c it was so inexpensive....just wanted to check the host out, maybe build something with it someday...my money was returned a couple of days later without explanation. Sent an email asking if he was still in business...no reply to date. Glad to get my money back so I have no real complaint. More to spend with RHD now that I've found him...

Maybe a moderator will see this and do the forum a favor and remove the paypal links...I got my money back but if it's not a valid business and the moderators know this, the only right thing in my mind is for them to shut him down by killing the links. Moderators, are you watching? Any comments? Don't you have that ability?

I didnt receive Any refund aswell ! I guess he only proceed RHD stuff since he was the more dangerous to him ............
