Yep you can place an order and it will be shipped in the order it was received. It really shouldn't be more than about 5 days.

I believe drlava said he was beginning to ship. He will go through the "pre-orders" first. When you get yours will depend on how many people were "in front" of you in the line and how much time he can spare from his real life to get these shipped.
