Oh, all packages that go to US are declared as "LED Flashlight DIY Upgrade Kits"... Especially the ones in the multipack.

The "DIY Upgrade Kit" is this tiny baggy next to the main contents, which contains an alluminum reflector, a CREE LED, tailcaps, basically everything you need to "upgrade" your "flashlight"..

The ONLY thing from that baggy that you actually need are the "tailcaps", converted into lens-caps.... The rest is just there to confuse. You can throw it away, or do what you want with it.

I'm sure everyone will be thrilled to hear from you - thanks for the update.

It has been noted while you were away that people from Batch #1 USA & UK have not received their orders - is this the case? Can you comment? If Batch #1 hasn't been received, that doesn't bode well for Batch #2 USA & UK people.

It would be helpful to know when Batch #1, #2 can expect to see orders arriving - both USA and UK customers. As Batch #2B USA was sent last Monday via expedited shipping to California, and then "same or next day" to customers via USPS, those orders should have been arriving Mon/Tues/Wed of this week. Since that is not the case, some detail is not only appreciated, but expected.

I, for one, am not sending you emails or PMs on a daily (or even weekly) basis, other than the one I sent yesterday offering to update the thread if you were too busy to do so. In that regard, I am putting all of the information here so that LPF is the central place to get order updates. I would think that would be easier than composing 100 emails and faster for everyone else as well.

Basically, what's going on?

I've been waiting patiently, and have total faith that IgorT will deliver these lasers. I don't email or PM Igor anymore, so he can have his time for making lasers instead of talking about them.

That said, I did expect my laser a little earlier than now (I am in batch 2a if I understand correctly). I understand that things get busy and that happens to all of us at different and unpredictable times, but a clear update about what has shipped/arrived, and when, would be greatly appreciated. Specifically, has my laser (or batch 1, 2a, 2b, etc) shipped to California yet? And if yes, has it arrived? When will it be shipped to me from CA? Thanks.

Allow me to answer some of these questions for you. Let me start out by saying that today is Igor's birthday. Happy birthday bro!

Batch 1 was a shipping disaster, the people in batch 1 should be fully informed about it. I also know for a fact that Igor is going to make it up to them BIG TIME! In fact, it makes me almost wish I was in Batch 1!

The batch 2 multi-packs should start appearing this week or early next week (depending on whether or not they left Slovenia before the snow storm hit). For now, try to go light on the emails and posts, as he is currently busy working on batch 3.

Due to the internet issues last week, some of us didn't get the laser instructions Igor was sending us. If you did not recieve your Laser Instructions (word document) via email: Contact Igor, and he will send you another one.

Personally, I am not worried at all. I trust Igor, Jayrob, Dave, and everyone else that has vouched for him. Igor has never pulled out before, and he has no reason to start now.

I know that there are many recipients outside of the US that have gotten their lasers already. I am not positive which batch they were in though.

What made Batch #1 a 'shipping disaster'??

This week was the date range I had targeted (and posted) for Batch #2A and #2B USA orders arriving.  I definitely did not receive instructions from Igor, and I emailed him a moment ago to ask for them, quoting your post.  Both of my DX orders have now arrived - which is great... I'm sure the laser will be along shortly, and thanks from everyone in Batch #2A and #2B for keeping us 'in the loop'.

A tiny amount of information goes a long way!

Please all LPF members, stop sending PMs, emails to Igor and new posts to this thread. Although it is getting more and more difficult for newbies to understand what is going on on this longest thread ever it is also keeping Igor more and more busy.

I am also waiting more than a month for my BluRay. When I ask Igor (26 days ago) if it would take 3 weeks for me to have my laser, he told me that it wouldn't be that long. But I am not keeping him busy neither with emails nor with PMs. Just trust him as always people do.
Please use your brain to calculate and think and have some empathy to understand him.
He is a very selfless guy who tries to make all of us happy without knowing humans have limits.
He cannot live without sleeping or making money from his real work.
Just think how long will it take to answer (with really long, informative and satisfying emails) 100 emails that comes at different times a day.

Are there anyone who believes that asking him questions with emails, PMs or posts on this thread can speed up Igor? If you do so please think twice.
You should have learned from many chinese suppliers that waiting is all you can do ! Sure he is not a chinese supplier but he is just one man building our lasers himself!  

PLEASE JUST WAIT and give some time for IGOR TO BREATHE

Batch one was really a mess. It was held somewhere and forgotten for over a week. Batch two is already shipped from Igor, he is working very hard on batch three right now. You should expect your laser sometime late this week or early next week.

I also received no instructions from Igor, which brought it to his attention that he may need to resend them.

Igor assures me that I will receive the package soon, and he's looking into any possibility of the if it was delayed or whatever.
