Gravity controlled 6.35W 450nm MagLight Host $650

I had an Idea to make a laser differently. So, I was happy to purchase a Silver maglight From Jayrob. Very Large air cooled / finned aluminum heatsink.
What I did different was to put a 80MHz ARM processor, dual Color OLED & Multiple sensors INSIDE the Laser.

--Laser Assembly Temperature
--Actual Current draw

Twist the laser CW to increase (step) laser output, CCW to decrease. I have not added any cool / odd focus ring, but will attach a ring for focusing.

I am happy to discuss building "subsystems" allowing other lasers to have "similar functionality" OLED/SMALL LCD, Sensors, sensor control, uProcessor current control and more. E-Mail us info@visiblediodelasers.com or PM

Make one with a new 3x beam expander on it to bring the divergence down and I'm interested.

You can't just "make" high efficiency builds at will.... If you could, everyone would choose to make every build with a diode capable of 1.75W ;)

If an expander was built into it, I'd expect reduced output with the extra optics, but even if it were 1 watt output with a 3X expander, I'd be interested. I just want the mRad to be comparable to a good 532nm DPSS laser, or better. If expanded enough to produce an mRad of 1.0 I'd be impressed for a 520nm laser, it would then have better divergence than a DPSS laser, fat beam of course.. but that isn't a problem at this kind of power, it's awesome. I have a Jetlasers 532nm DPSS I never take its 10X expander off of, its 30mm fat beam is gorgeous in the night sky at over 700mw.

I will take it please, if you still have it. I've checked, and I've got the funds. I'd like a couple of Qs answered RE shipping. Would love to move this to PM and finalise things.

Thank you Aardvark / Alex

That's a nice laser, I'm just waiting for them to put a beam expander in it so the divergence is close to 1.2 mRad. I may be waiting a life time, I don't know they ever plan on doing so.
