I am not going to name names. But I will tell you guys the situation.

I somehow got roped into an argument between to members on the forum, I stated my opinion and said please don't get me involved... Well three unanswered pms later and a threat via visitor message and he gets an infraction from a mod. Now, I am trying to buy a lot of stuff from him (you can only get it from him) and he refuses to sell it to me. I told him, "Can we put our problems aside and act like grownups? I need ____"

Now am I wrong or not? But this seems like bad business ethics to me...

My best advice is to try to apologize and make nice. Maybe let it lie a while, go back and apologize, and see if he'd be willing to work with you.

That being said, I've tried to do this with a different member and had zero success.

But at the end of the day, it's the seller's choice whether or not they want to deal with you.

LOL first of all, you would have worse luck then me at getting it.

Second of all, I tried that but he connected the dots between the name on my shipping address and my forum name

I think that if someone wants to refuse to sell you something they have every right to do so.

Find another source or make amends.

Seller refusing to sell.
:crackup::crackup::crackup:
Sorry, but you just made me laugh!
Like he owes you anything.:D
Forgive me for sounding harsh, but nothing to be done there.
If he doesn't want to do business with you, tough luck kid.

I'm sure, he can't be the only one who has what you need, though.:umbrella:

Psh, I'm about 70% sure I know who it is. There's really only one person on here that has a problem with Matt, and that's Jeff. Jeff was the only person on here until recently that was able to sell something we all wanted, until recently and that was silicon wire. amirite?

I'm afraid it's true.... do you KNOW how rare laser shooting turtles are?

Sorry, but you're NOT going to find them from anyone else, and I refuse to sell them to you.

BH kept talking about wanting to keep these little guys safe by making them wear "laser protection glasses". I tried to explain how that would completely defeat the purpose of turtles that shoot lasers from their eyes. Needless to say, I was not impressed by BH, and have flat-out refused to sell him any of my little trouble-makers at any point in the future. Sorry.

A Seller has the right to refuse to sell to anyone he doesn't want to
for any reason whatsoever unless you have a written contract with
that seller....:cryyy:
Just like a buyer has the right to buy or not from any seller for any
reason whatsoever unless you have a written contract with that
buyer...:cryyy:

A seller has NO obligation to sell anything to you simply because you really want it.

Either find someone else with it, source it yourself, make it yourself, make whatever amends the seller requires of you, or do without.

I cannot imagine any scenario in which public whining will help the situation.

Peace,
dave
