Hey guys, so I sold a lot of my stuff to a member on here a few weeks ago everything went according to plan my problem is he isn't responding to any of my messages and ups made 3 attempts to deliver the goods! My question is, what should I do if the stuff I shipped gets sent back to me???
Thanks in advance guys!

Well we have enough members here that someone disappears from time to time, it could be that something happened to him. I don't think UPS makes more attempts than that I think they leave a note that the person can pick it up at some UPS facility and they hold it for some days, at least that's what they used to do, this hapened to me once long ago when I couldn't be home to sign for a package but that was a few years ago. If you get it back then I would wait a few days and see if you hear from him, I assume he paid by PayPal? If it were me I would probably wait a week or more after I got it back and just refund his money. He could be in jail or in the hospital or dead or abducted by aliens or on vacation in France for all we know.

I would contact UPS and ask them to please hold the package at their local facility there and to not return it back to you for a minimum of 10 days. That gives you time to get a reply from the buyer and hopefully they can schedule a pick up date/time.
Good Luck!!

Well that's good news, I wouldn't worry much if someone signed for the package, the fact that you haven't heard from him could be something as simple as his computer quit on him, or like I said something possibly worse, but if someone signed for it then it has been delivered, don't worry about it.

Can you check and see if it was truly delivered to the correct address? Just because it was signed for does not mean the correct person received the package.

Yeah Apex you should try to find the signers address, I can feel your worry of it getting into the wrong persons hands, but like Pi said he could be having issues with his computer service. If you dont mind me asking did you include batteries with the deal.

Good news that the package was picked up and signed for. Post office will not allow a package to be picked up without at least a cursory ID check that matches the name and address, or barring that, a signed note from the original intended recipient, if the last name matches. After that, the note would need to be notarized.

If this person is not responding, chances are they were just busy... it happens. Odds of someone losing all internet access nowdays, are very low.
