I had tried to send an email to the support regarding my broken Arctic, but it sent back saying they are no longer taking emails because they're too flooded, and to create a ticket.
So I created a ticket and said I wanted a refund, and I checked back today and that ticket was gone, or deleted, or something..

So I called and clicked 0 for an operator, and Jimmy had answered the phone. At first it was very hard to hear and I got disconnected. The second time I called he told me he would call me back on a different phone, which he did very shortly after.
He was very friendly and confirmed my information (including everything I purchased such as shipping and expanded lens kit through Paypal). He was going to give me an RMA number for the package, and I should get an email confirming this.

I got the confirmation email today, so now I can send it out tomorrow. I'm on my iPod now so I'll post more details later if you want.

nope looks like I was wrong. I did get an RMA print out but that isn't a shipping label like I thought it was, I still have to pay with my own money. I'm gonna bring it to USPS today. Last time I send something to China it was $16 with priority mail, so it shouldn't be too much.

It cost me $19 something to ship it by air mail, not terrible, but that's a near $20 that could have gone towards gas or something.

I agree,
If you didn't ship it by priority mail with insurance and tracking capability, then there's a good chance, they will deny it ever got back to them.
I've had 4-5 customers tell be they sent items back using 1st class air mail and the comapnies say they never got the package and the customer is SOL.
Only 1 of the 4-5 had shipped to WL, but 2 were to DL, one to techlasers (same as WL) and another rayfoss.

1st class mail if they do acknowledge getting it, will take a long time for them to get it. priority mail is 6 -10 business days, but 1st class can take much longer. I had a customer send me a laser for repair back from France one time and he made the mistake of using 1st classs mail and it took 54 days for me to receive it here in the US.

ps, yes change the title.

I stand by what I said. Jimmy offered great and quick service. He imedietly put me in the system for an RMA. I agree that the rest of WL service is complete garbage, but Jimmy did a great job. After Jimmy I waited a day or 2 for the confirmation email from a completely different person (in this case her name was Jeice Cruz), who gave me the RMA to print out as well as the address.
If WL cloned many Jimmy's for customer support I can assure you all we would be very pleased lol..

I did use the cheapest mailing method possible... Air mail. This would be the 4th or 5th thing I've sent to china using air mail, and so far the rest made it ok. Let's hope the streak doesn't break here.

Typed this on my iPod so feel free to point out typos lol

Its not that the packages don't get there, its that they don't get there.
Understand?

ah gotcha..
well fortunately the post office lady showed me that the customs forms actually have a tracking number on them (right at the top on your reciept), I never realized this. I type this number on the usps website and it actually told me that it left the processing facility. She said it will also tell me when it's at the customs, so lets see if it updates anymore after that, I don't see why not?

If I'm not mistaken it's called wicked lasers not jimmy's lasers. Just because one employee did a half decent job, that doesn't mean the company as a whole still doesn't suck!

I'll second that one, I think it is it's own industry over there, to rip off the mail system and resell the items
I've lost track of how many things have went missing on the trip back to china.
