Thats why I say it was some kind personal issue with you.

Had to be more then some random FDA guy sitting at a desk looking at LPF for people to bust? Thats why I say some member that you pissed off at some point? Maybe a x girlfriend from long ago who had here heart broken, a fathers revenge??

The creepiest thing would be, If he really was a member of LPF. Could be someone who visits on a regular basis:eek:

Matt didnt get randomly picked. He had a web site selling lasers. Thats why he got popped. It was nothing personal. You cant have a web site selling lasers in the US, period. Matt got caught because I'm sure they do random searches for sites selling completed lasers.

I used to think they were members too, but there are plenty of sales, and no one is having issues. So I dont think they really care as long as its on a hobbyists level.

Ok so thats one fact I did not know. The part about Mohrenberg having a website way back when. That would explain why he got busted.
I thought it was just for the few he sold through the forums.

He contacted me via e-mail and asked if I would still sell him a couple of kits for personal use...

I told him that I need to sell kits, but I don't want any problems, or even any drama at all.

I sold him two Pocket Mini basic kits. Just the host and heatsink. (and a couple of bare drivers)

Now I'm going to tell him that I won't sell anymore to him.

I didn't know he has another site. Now I see all this stuff in this thread. And I don't want any part of it...

And now I'm looking back at a post that I put together some research on how to build a flashlight that can start paper on fire for a guy that was asking about one, and supposedly that was him too! (which I did not know)

The site was to blame though. Dan hewitt called me on the phone pretending to be a potential custome wanting 10 of the 8x blu-rays which was a $2000 order. His hostname on the site returned as fda.gov.
I got the letter from them about 2 weeks later

I got the letter from them about 2 weeks later

Thats because i have a big mouth. If I just stuck to the science, I'd have ~100 posts.

I cant wait till I get 10k and let in the uber vets section. Dave said there is tea and cookies.

hookers and beer are in the vets forum. When you get distinguished and move into the super vets forum you have tea and cookies. It's when you become "Mature"
