That's his wife/girlfriend/sister. He was still living at home with his mother (in between jail and rehab stints) when he was scamming here. Even if he got married, moved out, or his mother died (or kicked his druggy a$$ out), the person in that picture is WAY too old be his child (nor do I believe he has had time to breed) ;)

You have no idea how much I know about our old friend Tyler. Like most drug addicts, he is a very good liar. We had to do significant research to pin him down and expose him

I could probably predict what kind of drugs will be in his system when he attends MoogFest this October.

People (especially those with addled brains) tend to forget how much of our lives and movements are recorded on the net.

Sounds like hackforums is getting the same classic treatment he gave LPF.
Make a few good sales, build sum rep and friends.
Then rip off the occasional newb that he feels he can make look bad in the eyes of his peers.
Sooner or latter the number of victims will grow until he is noticed. Then when his peers become leery. He will try going out with a bang and rip everybody he can off.

My only reason going there was to put the seed of doubt in everyones mind.

The only thing that bothers me is he is still buying kits from Jay. Jay said he would not do business with him anymore.

I wouldn't knowingly sell DAoO anything...

But rpaloato is correct... DAoO has only been there
since May and has only ~500 posts @ ~11 posts per
day... He's building up his backup team that get fair
Lasers... then he will hit the noobs....

I wonder if the FDA would be interested in him selling
greater than 1 Watt non-conform Lasers to the General
public...:whistle:

Does jay know he is selling to him? It would be very easy for daoo to just buy from jayrob as a newb from another forum like PL or LH.

This guy has to be a laserist somehow. Maybe he worked with them before his job with the FDA, some kind of reaserch or in the medical field?

What brought him to LPF in the first place? Was it to just bust someone??
Then why only Mohrenberg??
He never went after anyone else?
Even to this day, with dozens of newer members all selling class 4 lasers?

Thats why I suspect he was already here, as a memebr. Maybe someone who posted in the gas thread or even the laser show thread.

Some people love lasers, but hate laser pointers. Go to PL and start posting lots of threads about how cool laser pointers are. You'll make lots of friend real fast;)

Thats why I think it's someone who may have been particularly pissed at Mohrenberg. Mohrenberg must have unintentionally pissed this guy off some how, maybe a smart remark in a thread or something?

If I'm not mistaken hewitt only sent lots of mean, nasty and threatening letters. No legal action. It was a personal vendetta against Mohrenberg.

I also had two in-person visits from special agents from the FDA which prompted the hiring of my lawyer.
In the end I gave my lawyer my PayPal records and he relayed the information (without giving them evidence) of how many I had sold, and argued that it was as a hobbyist because my profit margin was so small (as always) that it was not a business endeavor. They were satisfied that I had stopped selling lasers and left it at that.

I think the fact that i'm young, no criminal record and i was in uniform on duty when they showed up helped a little bit as well.
