Get a grip kid, I'm fully aware there are predators on the internet, predators rarely if ever groom in a "public" place, they prefer to keep their vile crap in dark places where people don't notice them (or somebody like me will usually turn up on their doorstep with 2 gallons of jet fuel, a lighter and a smile)

Based on your logic every competition that is ever run that requires personal details must be run by predatory deviants, hell, purchases that are made online require personal details so using the same logic all online sales to minors / directed at minors must be from peadophillic animals.

From a more factual view, scammers are white collar criminals, they rarely if ever cross over to commit acts against the person. Nonces rarely commit simple scams as they run the risk of being exposed for their more serious crimes.

One thing you do need to be careful about, voicing an opinion that somebody "May" or "May not" have comited a crime against you is far far different to making public suggestions or accusations toward their other activity. Don't think that Libel is protected speech, it isn't.

Calling him a scammer is one thing, leaping to other conclusions is an entirely different story.

Could be. He wanted to buy a WL expanded lens kit off of me, offered PP at first then said he was sick, he could trade a couple pen lasers... insisted to send them at the same time, so I said just send cash... no response since then. Agreed^ hope it works out for you all

I'm so sorry to hear this Sixtee9 Tonyt came across as a great guy in general but I guess not, but as many people said its only been a few days so lets hope for the best,

We should also not jump to conclusions stating that he's a pedophile, Laik I'm not saying you were directly accusing him of this but you've gotta be careful of how lossely you use the term otherwise people could make the wrong conclusions

When i was with him doing my deal he was talking about the fact he had come over from .Sydney ( to Adelaide) and about his girlfriend,which he seemed pretty genuine about

Yeah he just moved into a new house apparently as well. I think his misses is genuine, like i said, i'm sorry for what i said.

I do hope he sorts all this out and if he does by all means an apology will be coming ,at the moment its not looking good with the above issues we have had and one of them dating back two months ago .Seems a really nice guy, but i did get sold a dud laser at top dollar price i had to fix( worked on low power but not high) he said it was the low battery it wasn't and those WL S3 arctics don't come apart easy at all, there where a few little issues that weren't true but nothing to get really annoyed about

Well thats a shame , but the way I see it .
We need a middleman for this type of trade.

Both parties should send their goods to a trusted member of the forum , preferably far away from the customs nazi and not too expensive in shipping.

Then the middleman will sort out the trade. Once both of the items has been received.

That way it'll be MUCH more secure.
