So then, have you accomplished this amazing task, got rich from your discovery and partnered up with Microsoft yet?

Team up with them? Hell with that kind of technology, he could buy Microsoft.

Complaining about me being offensive, then saying STFU N00B when you misunderstand a joke; hypocrisy much?

Anyways, It's called AES-1048576(or any sufficiently large multiple of two). It's theoretically possible, but nobody uses anything more than AES-256 because it would take way too long to encrypt/decrypt something.

Seriously, l2crypto before assuming it's impossible. It's easy, just impractical.

If that's the case, then why have their been cases where classified information has been stolen from classified systems? Why don't credit card companies use these so called millenia to crack encryptions? If people's lives and finances aren't practical enough, then I don't know what is.

Because he's talking about brute-force cracking, which no cracker or malcontent actually uses to get around an encryption scheme.

Even "algorithms that would take millenia to crack" (via brute force), have cryptological and mathematical weaknesses that can allow them to be cracked via a "cheat", or partial data.

When the NSA goes about attempting to crack a 4096-bit cipher (technically something that would 'take millenia' to crack -- via random number generation), the LAST thing they're going to do is run a RNG key generator to get into it. No, they're going to intelligently analyze the architecture of the algorithm and concentrate their efforts where the difficulty factor is the least (say, they know the key will have a prime number in it somewhere.) So, quotes of "this will take x years to crack if you use n bits encryption" is a fallacy that holds little real world security status. In reality, ciphers are never cracked by RNG.

"Uncrackable" encryption? No - "Security always exists on a sliding linear scale with difficulty and required effort vs implementability/feasibility." It can be made *very* difficult, but "impossible" is a word that you'll never hear a cryptographic scientist use. Only "factor of difficulty" or "required effort" is discussed.

Mfo, are you one of the people who complained about me being offensive, in secret to the mod?

Yeah like you didn't cry in secret to a mod to get the remakes taken out of your rep. I gave you some solid advice to act like a man, but its obvious you have a way to go with that. If you continue to play these stupid kid games you will be gone, permanently.

I used the brute force idea because usually, people who haven't taken college-level cryptography classes wouldn't understand much else.

PS: TJ, i only mentioned that because mfo complained about me being offensive, then offended me, if he wasn't a veteran, I most likely would have been able to tell a mod and get him banned, but since veterans are gods, i won't even try. Also, I did ask to have them removed, because the comment on the -rep made no sense, and the only reason mfo could give me for why you -repped me was "I don't have to explain myself to you, noob." If you(mfo or TJ) want to continue this conversation, try the PM's or even a "dispute resolution" thread, it doesn't belong here.

PPS: I actually didn't ask to have TJ's comment removed, I liked how it was funny that it made absolutely no sense and mentioned something that isn't available anymore.

Vets are not gods. Vets have spent an enormous amount of time educating people like you. No one knows you, and you have not been here that long, nor posted anything showing your want to be excepted here. So why should any of us waste our time explaining anything to you about our actions? It could be better spent helping people. And dont tell any of us what we should or should not do. You have not earned that right yet. In fact the only thing you have earned is a pile of - reps, and a temp ban. So I'd be more concerned about what you are doing, and not what we do.

Last I checked, people appreciated things that are on-topic. If I'm wrong, then please, educate me!

1. I tried PMs with you, and they were a waste of my time.
2. This thread is pretty much done.

Pics or it didn't happen.

Go start a ban poll if that's how you feel. I've done nothing wrong, I never even complained about you being offensive even though that's how I feel. You posted total crap on my newbie guide thread. "Death star wavelength"? Please dude, get real.

If that(you didn't complain to the mod) is true, then I'm sorry that I assumed that the two people who hated me and won't tell me why they hate me were part of the 5 that said that i was offensive.

I already apologized about posting that(the total crap) and removed it. At least I wasn't telling a completely new person to attach car batteries to a diode, like KipKay.
