Only if the output is negative polarity. For a normal TC it is AC so there is no net ion generation after atmospheric recombination.

That and there's technically capacitance between anything in the air and to ground; That's another reason why AC has breakout, and DC does not. :tinfoil:

Hehe, sorry. Just sell a HV diode to put in reverse bias at the top of the capacitance hat/output as an additional "pro-health" addon. Transforms your TC's output into a healing stream of negative ions!

Got another reply from aautomation. He said he has been able to achieve 36" streamers from the new coil he is about to release! He said he'd send me a video in a day or so :)

More update: He said the kit is probably going to sell for around $350. The catch this time is that he's thinking it'll be 90% assembled, since he's going to use SMD on the PCB. So all you'd have to do is screw it together and tune it :)

He said he'd post a video on the weekend, so I'll get back with that.

I've also put my name down for the pre-production model, which he'll be building up for me, using it to take pics for the manual, then sending it off to me :)

Thought I'd also add: It has a remote control.

Heh, I used to be heavily into HV as well. Not quite as much anymore. Still got my NST, the odd flyback, this tesla coil soon, though laser projectors have a few more practical uses :D
