Hey ITman496..

You should perhaps re-size your pics (800 X 600).
Yours are 2362 X 1327
Not all members have a 100" computer screen.
Your pics are 3 screens wide on my screen and
makes it difficult to read your text...:cryyy:

Sorry about that! For some reason ever since I formatted my phone, it won't auto resize pictures. Its strange. I'll edit them from now on to be smaller.

Also, today, I got the radio working :D

I'd be more worried about the model rockets on a foamie- they put out way more thrust and flame than a bottle rocket :p

I've done that before too jerry. When it does happen, your photos sometimes disappear (it happened in the capacitor bank thread coz my photos were huge). I now make a habit of resizing them :)

IT man, your phone has probably reset to defaults aka "show off, i can do 5megapixels" mode, and you need to reset the option to vga or whatever it is for forum pics :)

Well the rockets wouldn't push the plane, they would launch off like missiles. :p

And I always had it set to 5megapixels, since I do like big photos. The issue is that it used to auto re-size them on upload. But now it doesn't.

I used to use "quickupload" in the gallery (its an android) but for some reason it refuses to let me set that to photobucket. Do you know of any solution to this? I try to press quickupload and it goes 'you have no default photo upload service set, do you wish to pause the upload and set, and then resume?' I click yes and it just goes back to the picture. :/

Thanks for resizing... I can see them now on 1 screen..;)

For the Rockets on the foamie... you could apply aluminum
foil on the areas that you think the rocket's exhaust might
hit when launched..

Yeah, sounds like a good idea!

But I have ran into a problem. For some reason the engine refuses to work. Its really strange since the radio works, and the ESC works, but not together.

The radio is easily able to control the servos, and when I move throttle stick to idle, the speed control plays a tone (through the motor, proving that it is sound) to signal that it is armed and ready to rock. But what happens when I push the stick forward? Nothing. :(

I'm gonna test with yet another radio and another speed controller. I am assuming something isn't right with the ESC, since the radio is fine and tested. If anyone here has any insight to save me much frustration, it is appreciated.

Yeah, my ESC doesn't use programming cards, it requires a (sold seperately) usb interface cable.

And, I know about the programming, my car's ESC needed that before it would function. But this one said explicitely in the directions it was plug in and fly, and that the arming beep (which it does) means that throttle is enabled and working.

This is why I'm stumped. :/

It is only missing the Radio and Battery... Which
I already have.

All other stuff is included... it has Rudder.. Elevator
Ailerons...Flaps and electric 3 wheel retracts with rear
wheel steering and all servos already installed. It even
has main wing tip Green and Red lighting.
It has a Brushless Motor that turns a 15" diameter 4 bladed
prop. Wingspan is 63"...
I paid $258.00 Delivered to Quebec...

They were a bit questionable but I think it looks okay. I think. I've flown worse and they turned out to be fine with some mods.

Nice! I like retracts. I need some, lol.

I always use Hobbyking, lol. I never really go to the other places.

Also, good news! Suddenly the ESC started to work. Turns out the radio was outputting the wrong format. PCM instead of PPM. Strange. But it sounds so cool! :D
