I've made one by using a transformer to convert pulsed DC to AC, then stepping up the AC with diodes and capacitors.

This sounds much easier...

If that sort of stuff amuses you, just stick 2 paper clips in a wall outlet if you want to see something in pain or even possibly DIE ;)

yea i was taking apart my old camera for the hell of it and for some reason i thought it was a great idea to take the electrical tape OFF the circuit board and proceed to touch it  lol i got heavy shock up my whole arm. That shit was intense! :D and it actually happened another 2 times after that lol I guess I'll never learn ;D

I'm still waiting for the slug. Now that I think about it, he hasn't been on for a while. I guess he got TFO.

I made something like this many moons ago (at least 10 years) with a strobe circuit, and replaced the 300v cap with a 0.01uF 3Kv disc type, although it had no flyback it worked in a similar fashion.

Hi Guys. I completely forgot about this thread! Sure, I'll make a guide. I'll post it on my website. I can't promise when though, as I have GCSE coursework to do etc.

I remember the first time I took apart an old disposable camera and got a shock. I quickly found a
way to turn into a tazer but the camera only puts out 330v's...Still hurt like hell though. ;D
Looks like he got a flyback transformer out of an old TV.
