I think that representatives of certain laser companies (such as Justin from Laserglow) should be given a "VIP" rank. This may be a great help to people want to know more about the company in question.

What do you all think?

I don't see any reason why this would be better for all of us.
Great companies are well known. If you have doubts head over the review compilation thread ;)

Nah.. It only provides them with free marketing opportunities. The only real benefits are theirs, not the forums. They can pop in and say whatever at any time as it is right now.

Nobody should be given a "VIP" rank, since we already have post count and rep to account for that.

Post count doesn't mean anything, and rep is easily abused. I agree with Nikokapo, most people know which companies are good and bad.

All they need to do is Register on LPF... It's FREE...
Then they could set up their Signature any way they wanted...
(stating which company they represented)
