toubles with "post quick reply"

I can no longer post quick replies. When i try, i get sent to another page that says "my message was too short." The sad thing is, is that it doesn't transfer my text to the new page. Is anybody else having this problem?

what layout are u using? try logging it and out again

What you need to do is hit the "page reload" before posting...
If by mistake you post and it takes you to the "too short" page...
hit the "back" button and your edited post will still be there.
Then hit "page reload" and then "Post Quick Reply"..

I think there is a problem... but this trick will allow you to
post... I've been using this all day when it happens to me...
It doesn't always seen to do that...

thanks for the reply avery and jerry. I am using the dark shadows layout. but this problem is a new one. It hasn't always done that. pretty weird huh?

I am using ie8 at work and ie7 at home. but the funny thing Avery, as every day goes by all the little quirks are going away. so keep up the good work man. my quick replies work now and I don't have to refresh anymore( well some times i do, but not often).

Hey Ave... my "Post Quick Reply" problems seem to have vanished since
about 2 days ago...
Whatever you did... thanks...:bowdown:

I'm still using FF with DarkShadows... everything else seems to be working
like a charm as well...:gj:

it was issue with the DarkShadows layout because the layout was not matching the forum version
but i fixed it in the last style update :yh:

New feature: in the DarkShadows you don't need to click 'Go Advanced' , there is no smilies box but there is little smilie icon click on it :drool:

Yeah.... I saw that at around the same time the other problem disappeared...
Thanks for the fix and the "DarkShadows" theme... it's the only one I use..
