I have to refresh pages to see new posts as well but this is only after doing the "back" button, so the forum is performing correctly in that situation as going back will just revert to the page before that and not refresh it.

tech, maybe that's what you're doing?

it wouldn't hurt to make sure you have the latest browser update as well, IE8 or Firefox 3.5 (i think it comes out today, or tomorrow), or whatever you use.

thanks,
Kendall

No..if I click an updated link (in New Posts, or Email) it will bring me to the thread page, but no new post will show up. I have to hit refresh to get the new posts to show. It sucks. With the rotating ads I have to hit "stop" and then "refresh" to get it to stop. Otherwise I cant read the page. Fun stuff.

Yeah I need to try a new browser. But all the internet PC settings are sill the same...no?

Say I reply to a thread..then I get an email update...I click it and it brings me to my original post. I have to refresh to see any additional posts after my post. For some reason the pages don't update all the time. Or if I read a thread..then I see someone has added a reply, I cant see the new post till I refresh. Like I said its does not do it all the time, but it is often enough to be a pain in the ass. There is no way to replicate this, because it would not happen to you. Can a browser change fix this?

don't know if a browser change can fix it. can u forward me one of the links in an email update so i can test it?

i am pretty sure it is normal that refreshing is needed to see new posts. i wasn't aware that it ever autorefreshed. so yeah please send me an example link that causes problem and i will check it out

also, regarding the rotating ads in previous post that u mentioned, not sure what u mean
