How about after a search returns no results, it takes you back to the search page so that you can change the search parameters?
I have found that if I hit the back button in firefox after a failed search, I cannot search again without refreshing.

thanks for bringing up this issue! i have noticed this too, it is pretty annoying

i think the reason for this is security, so it might not be possible to change, but im going to post on yabbforum and ask if it is security related, and if its not, i will try and get a fix!

sorry for my delay writing back

i will keep u updated

peace

I found this feature annoying when using the search feature:

The default search is 1 week history and I find myself with little useful results whenever I forget to change it to 1 month or longer when I want to find more information or older useful posts I have not bookmarked.

And some people like to scold others for not searching the forums but the default search only searches 1 week deep and not many people will notice it immediately.

Perhaps a better default search period would be 1 month even if the search takes a little longer.

pyro, this is not a bug, it has to do with the browser cache the people at yabb said.

regarding the default search history length, i dont know how to change this, but i can see if i can do something about it

Does that also mean that there’s no way to redirect to the search page and refresh auto-magically on a “no results” search?

Once again, and I'm sure not the last time, thanks C0ld!
