I had 4 rep points but 3 were from one of my donations, so thats cool. But on my profile its showing I should have 2 rep points, I think. Am I wrong?

Hey c0ld, I know you're busy, but I think my Rep may be inaccurate.
I had a bit on the old LPF but after the forum changed I worked up to 15, then it went to 11 after the forum updates this week, then today I noticed it was/is 97!
Not sure what that's about.

It means that you will have to do something deemed worthy of +rep from the members in the future. Like testing a new diode or a special build. No more welfare.

1. Why "Ya'll"? It implies others.
2. Earn? How many people join this forum to EARN virtual points, as in a game? I didn't.
3. Welfare? What? As though "rep" points are of value?
This whole many-threaded fiasco regarding "rep" has gotten old. There is definitely a warped sense of value here, and it seems more so from the "vets" (into the veterans forum and huddle around so no one can see what you're discussing) than anyone else.
My second thought was to post, after reading these self-important pukes from the high and mighty.

C0ld has a kind heart and it set the point system off balance. So there will be no boosts anymore. Everyone almost lost all their boost points, (I agreed) but obvious it would upset a lot of people. So we are going back to the old way without C0lds intervention.
About the vets section...This forum gets hundreds of new people everyday. Some are here just to buy lasers, some to chat, some to learn. Most bail after a while. We are in it for the long hall. We also help moderate the forum. So when something major comes along, we discuss it. I dont understand your problem with this. Its not like you need 5000 posts to get in. 1000 takes a few months, and a way to tell if you are in for the long hall.

I think points are a joke, but many people dont, so thats why there are so many discussions.
