Perhaps the admins or mod could remove the banner since the website no longer works anyway and who wants see that anyway after all bad stuff he did..

Meh...
Not like it goes to anything anymore. Just serves to remind us of Eitans failures.

Avery told me that the contract has to come up first. Still, how long has the toplaserpointers.com links been dead? Has to have been a while.

There are usually termination clauses in contracts. It would be easier if there was a "Terminate for Convenience" clause otherwise it's for not meeting contractual obligations, i.e. "Terminate for Cause". That's when the lawyers get paid and thus may simply be more cost effective to wait for it to expire.

I'm sure cOldshadow knows what he is doing. And I'm sure he want's that banner off of his website as much as we do. If not simply for the reason to get past this horrible experience, and to leave it behind.
Either way, it's purely up to his discretion!

Don't be to sure of that. Maybe but maybe not.

Remember this is not our forum and we may think SciFi deserves the ban, but it's not our choice.

I think he may get a 2nd chance, he has been here a long time, and face it he pays for that ad, you really want him gone, buy the ad.

Trust me I don't like it, but I will never buy anything from him, that's my choice.

I'm here for the lasers, this drama is no good, just make sure you get your money back and never buy from him, warn new members as long as you speak the truth.

Buy I don't see him getting banned.

The message CS posted spelled it out between the lines, it's pay pal that has him on hold, not LPF.

anybody looked into ignoring it-???

maybe you want to send refund ??

have at it.

nothing it to be gained by continuing with the drama.

is there really anything like totally RISK FREE!???
for most anything??
Over 5 mW
across borders
911 et al
laser terrorists
crooked carriers
flood-
strippers n coke
..oh wait-- not those..

bottom line- the banner
'owner' paid-
contract.
a problem between SciF and buyers
should not be mixed with LPF.
go ask Joker those questions.

BUT not LPF or Admin.
not our biz
when-
how much etc, out of
bounds to ask.

let that go--:shhh:

He owns two domains, sflasers.us and sflasers.com.

Alan

He just renewed Jan 2016 (IIRC). Expires next year. Domain registration info is good place to start for published info about people/companies doing business online.

After all the Paypal claims go through and all is well afterwards, there's really no reason the site couldn't be back up and running again. Granted, he'll have to do things differently from that point, but there's no reason it can't happen. Let's see the situation 2 weeks or a month from now.

Hopefully Eitan has learned his lesson. It doesn't really sound like it though. I may have missed it but I have not seen any evidence that he will be resuming his business*.

He doesn't "Have" to do anything different, he can do business* to people exactly the same way.

He has been advised on how to resolve the situation. He doesn't see that spending the "profit" portion of a sale, prior to it's completion, is bad business. He doesn't understand that just because he considers a sell "complete" that if he offers a guarantee or if he must comply with a paypal return policy or dispute policy that he needs to leave enough funds in his account to resolve any returns or disputes. He MUST leave "working funds". Working funds MUST include overhead. Overhead includes potential losses due to refunds and disputes as well as operating costs and build costs. Whatever is left AFTER that may be profits or reinvest-able. Profits are NOT calculated on a per sale basis. He feels that profits are on a per sale basis. That is NOT how you do business. That's how he does "business"*.
